The offer
What you get with a Kokorology somatic coach
Every engagement includes:
- A polyvagal-grounded baseline assessment in week one — we map your dominant state, your stuck pattern, and the smallest change that would matter.
- Weekly 1:1 sessions (60 minutes, video) with the same coach throughout — never a rotating roster.
- Between-session protocol — the relevant Anchor built into your week, so the work compounds.
- Async support — voice notes and short check-ins between sessions, replied to within one working day.
- Measured outcomes — we track HRV, sleep, and felt-state markers alongside the work, so progress is visible, not vibes.
Three-month and six-month engagements only. We do not sell single sessions — meaningful nervous system change does not happen in 60 minutes.
Packages
Pricing & packages
- Foundations — 3 months. 12 weekly sessions + Anchor protocol + async. For one specific pattern (sleep, anxiety, focus, recovery, GLP-1 transition).
- Reset — 6 months. 24 weekly sessions + full Anchor library + async + monthly review. For baseline-level change — the package most clients choose.
- Executive — 6 months, premium. 24 sessions + on-demand crisis support + partner / leadership-team session option. For founders, executives, performers.
Investment ranges from $2,400 (Foundations) to $9,000+ (Executive). Exact pricing is shared on the intake call once we know which package fits. Most clients are mid-range. Payment plans available.
Somatic coaching vs. talk therapy vs. life coaching
- Talk therapy tends to look backward — what happened, what it meant, how it shaped you. Vital for many people, especially with unresolved trauma.
- Life or executive coaching looks forward — goals, decisions, accountability, performance. Cognitive and strategic.
- Somatic coaching works in the present-tense body. It assumes most of what is keeping you stuck is not lack of insight or lack of strategy — it is a nervous system that has learned to protect you in a way that no longer fits your life.
Who this is for
It tends to be the right fit when you can say things like:
- "I understand my pattern and I keep doing it anyway."
- "I'm successful on paper and I feel terrible inside."
- "Talk therapy helped me understand it; I want to change it."
- "I freeze in the meeting / the conversation / the moment that matters."
- "I can't tell if I'm tired or burned out or depressed."
- "I'm on a GLP-1 / coming off one and I feel disconnected from my body."
It is usually not the right first step in active crisis, untreated severe mental illness, or active eating disorder — those need clinical care first. We will say so on the intake call.
What a session actually looks like
Each coach has their own style. Most sessions move through a recognisable arc:
- Land. Two to five minutes to drop into the body — feet, breath, weight on the chair.
- Name the present. What is alive in you right now? Not the agenda from last week — what's here.
- Track. The coach watches and reflects what your body is doing as you speak. You start to feel patterns you didn't know you were running.
- Intervene. A small, specific experiment — slow the exhale, stand up, change a sentence, soften the jaw — that produces a state shift.
- Integrate. Notice what changed. Anchor it. Carry one practice into the week.
Sessions are 60 minutes, weekly, over video.
Our method, in one paragraph
We are polyvagal-informed nervous system coaches, trained in somatic tracking, breath and movement-based interventions, and polyvagal theory. Every Kokorology coach holds at least one recognised somatic certification (Somatic Experiencing, Hakomi, Strozzi, or equivalent), runs their own ongoing somatic practice, and is supervised monthly. Method is the spine; presence is the medium.
How to choose a somatic coach (even if not us)
The field is unregulated, which means quality varies wildly. A short checklist:
- Training you can name. Polyvagal-informed, Somatic Experiencing, Hakomi, Strozzi, Generative Somatics. Vague "intuitive" credentials are a yellow flag.
- Their own ongoing practice. A somatic coach who does not work on themselves cannot meet you anywhere they have not been.
- A clear method, not a personality. You should be able to describe what they do after one session.
- Scope honesty. A good somatic coach tells you when something is therapy territory and refers out.
- Felt sense after the consult. Your body will tell you. Trust that data.
What changes — and how fast
Most clients notice a shift in two phases:
- Weeks 1–4: sleep improves, reactivity drops, you start catching yourself mid-pattern instead of after.
- Months 2–6: the pattern that brought you in stops running by default. New behaviours stop costing willpower. Relationships, work, energy reorganise around a new baseline.
Six months of consistent work tends to produce changes that years of insight alone did not. This is why we do not sell single sessions.
Booking
How to start
- Apply. A short form on the coaching page. Five minutes.
- Discovery call (paid, €110, 40 min). We map fit, scope, and which package makes sense. If somatic coaching is not the right thing, we will say so — the €110 is credited toward your package if you continue.
- Match & schedule. Paired with the right Kokorology coach, weekly slot agreed, baseline assessment booked.
- Start. Week one is assessment. Week two onward is the work.
